About Please Help10

Hello,

I am a  30 yr. old single mother with 2 boys, ages 13 & 8. I had my oldest son at the age of sixteen. My oldest being a miracle child, due to me not knowing i was pregnant with him  until the day before i had him. I know its unbelievable, but it is the absolute truth. My son is now 13 and he has gotten accepted to a prestige school due to his academic excellence and his testing skills. He has become a 13 year old professional at footbal and basketball. His scholo name is Mt. Saint Michael Academy and the tuition is $10,000.00 a year, and me being a single mother there is but so much i can afford, this tuition  does not include uniform and lunch and I really need help. I am not looking for a hand out...just a little help. Any donations can be given directly to the school.

Thanks it will be highly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

catholic education tuition assistance - washington state

Note: This aidpage was started as a comment on "Home page of pamela a."

Have you spoken to the school about your situation? Being a catholic church, perhaps, they could pool their resources and assist you with your child's tuition. here is another place you can check 1-866-4-Cath-Ed www.seattlearch.org/schools.

NEED HELP W/ TUITION & RENT

Help!!!  My employer has cancelled their tuition reimbursement program.  Plus, the government only offers high-interest loans for my program (no grants).  I am slated to begin studying full-time at Roosevelt University  this summer.  I will be pursuing a Master of Science in Human Resources Management degree and tuition for this 11-course (31-credit hour) program will total $22,729.

In addition, my parents were going to let me live with them in their basement while I went to school, but my grandmother had to move in with them so now I have to rent an apartment for $650.00 per month.

Thank you for taking time to read about my situation.  I appreciate any words of encouragement and/or financial support.  My paypal email address is octavio@illinoisalumni.org

Best regards!
Octavio Santiago

P.S.  I can provide a copy of my acceptance letter if you'd like to see it.

I want to be a Teacher

HELLO, I am a Post Bacalaureat student with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. I raised my family four children but I am now divorced and single. I have maxed out my student loan borrowing power at the undergraduate level and until accepted into a Graduate program I cannot take out any more loans. My education has been a struggle of children, balancing jobs and trying to save my marriage thereby my GPA is not good enough to qualify for  a Masters in Teaching Program at Missouri State University. I need to take courses for a semester and pay my own tuition. I currently have been forced to pay old Health Fees to this same university for the time w hen I was sick in 1996. This eight hundred dollars had to be paid before I could be allowed to register for classes. I registered for courses and I do not know how I will pay my tuition of two thousand dollars. I live in Public Housing  but have low rent by the time I buy food  and pay my monthly espenses there is not much left of the social security disability Irecieve from the government (five-hundred and sixty-nine dollars per month.)  I want to teach Art and Social Studies. I pay tuition to Drury University where I completed my last twelve units of my Bachelors Degree in 2003 and I did not qualify for a student loan then  either so I am over six thousand dollars in debt to them for which I pay fifty dollars a month. I owe the  government over 40,000 thousand dollars for my education this far which compounded interest continues all the while I am out of work or school. yet at my age (56)cannot find a job. I need to complete my education and be ready to start a career. I am between a rock and a hard place and if you write to me please use this in the subject matter. If this can lead to any help I would be grateful. I am not a smoker, or a drinker and do not use any illegal drugs. I was injured in 2000 by a man who claimed to want to help me and got a broken leg instead of any help. I still have a bad knee which leaves me out of some jobs requiring a lot of physical labor. I was planning to go to law school and run for Congress of htis country. I thought I could make a difference. As a social studies/art teacher I can do so one student at a time. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated. my email is rianarings@hotmail.com and my home phone is 417 862-1731. I am not asking for a hand out . Just some help. I have tried to get out of this mess and jsut cannot find a job. In this state it is said that it is not what you know but whom you know that matters. All donations will be viewed as money i will use in the future to help some one else when I get myslef straightened out. Thanks for listening at any rate. I pray every night for an answer to this dilema. Sincerely, Mary L. Mayfield 421 W. Madison Street Apt 403, Springfield, Missouri. P.S. I am the only one in my family who has earned this much education for six generations. I will provide more info if you need I do have good references from my former schools.
